SUMMER SCHOOL ON INTELLIGENCE, Gorizia - ITALY
In June 2008 will occur at Villa Codelli in Mossa (Gorizia, ITALY) the first Summer School on Intelligence (the work language is Italian). The Summer School is designed to develop and understanding of the new social and political conflicts in the international system. In addition, it offers more detailed study of these conflicts in some specific regions of the world (Muslim countries, Balkans, West Europe, and East Europe).
The program is designed for those who wish to study international relations and the new items regarding human security both out of interest and for career advancement in public, business, voluntary and political work, including in the media.
The Institute for higher Education (Istituto di Alta Formazione, IAF, Gorizia, www.iaf-lionardo. it ) has a strong reputation in teaching in international relations and human security. The Institute maintains close links with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research Programme of Correspondence Instruction in Peacekeeping Operations (Unitarpoci) and Italian academic institutions (Universitр telematica delle Scienze Umane, Unisu, www.unisu.it).
